Gunmen kill man, kidnap wife, daughter

Armed hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers have attacked and killed a man yet to be identified on the Afa/Egede Road in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, when he was travelling with his family.

It was gathered from sources that the gunmen attacked the family and killed the man on the spot, while his wife and daughter were whisked away.

The incident reportedly happened on Sunday, in Enugu State.

The spokesman of Enugu State Police command, Daniel Ndukwe, who confirmed the incident said that the manhunt for the armed hoodlums and rescue of the kidnapped victims were ongoing.
