Zamfara APC, PDP youths' clash: Dep gov, Police confirm 1 dead, 18 injured
Zamfara State Government through the state Deputy Governor, Hassan Nasiha and the state Police Command have confirmed the killing of one man and 18 others sustaining various degrees of injuries during a clash by suspected youths of All Progressive Congress, APC and People's Democratic Party, PDP. The state Deputy governor who visited the victims of the attack at the Specialist Hospital, Gusau to ascertain their condition, said one live was lost while 18 others sustained various degrees of bullet wounds. Three of the victims with serious from gun shots injuri es were seen being attended to at the specialist hospital. Nasiha said it was the fear of such breach of law and order that the Zamfara Government announced a halt on campaign activities and rallies by political parties in the state.
