Sallah: Terrorists attack Buhari's advance security convoy
President Muhammadu Buhari. *Kill ACP Aminu Umar in Katsina ON July 5, gunmen opened fire on President Muhammadu Buhari’s advance convoy deployed ahead of his trip to Daura, Katsina State for Sallah celebrations and injured two persons. The attack came on a day an Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP, Aminu Umar Dayi, in charge of Dutsinma Area Command in Katsina was ambushed and killed by bandits in a fierce gun duel. The bandits were said to have opened fire on the presidential advance team who returned fire and repelled the bandits. Two persons in the convoy were, however, injured and are currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital. Confirming the attack last night, the Presidency hailed the gallantry of the security aides of the president.
