Ondo Amotekun arrests 2 for killing Okada man, stealing motorcycles
The suspects *Ring used to hypnotise victims failed — Suspect One of the suspects arrested by operatives of the Ondo State security outfit, codenamed, Amotekun, for killing a commercial motorcyclist said his arrest was made possible as his colleague’s ring failed them. The suspects, Temitope Akinwale, 22, and Habeeb Jimoh, 21, were apprehended in Oba-Akoko axis of Akoko South-West council area of the state. In an interview during their parade in Akure, 22-year-old Akinwale said they used to lure their victims to deserted locations where they pounce on them. He said: “I picked an Okada man from Oba-Akoko junction to Araromi. I had already told my friend to wait at the junction so that we would snatch his motorcycle. “My friend had assured me that he had a ring that he will use to hit the Okada rider, which will make him lose consciousness.
