Return, PDP’ll win, Tidi urges defectors
A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain in Delta State and Chairman Warri South Local Government Area of the state, Dr, Michael Tidi, has called on those who defected from the party to the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state to come back, assuring that the PDP would sweep the polls in the state. Tidi, who spoke in Warri, urged members of his PDP to remain committed to the party, saying they should not be deceived by fake promises from other parties. He said: “There would be no preferential treatment for those defecting to the PDP,. So, why should the defectors think the original members of the APC would properly integrate them in their new found party. “I wish the defected members remained with their original family, which is the PDP. The doors of the PDP still open to the defectors to reconsider their actions and return to the party.”
