UTME: Varsity offers scholarship to boy who scored 99/100 in maths
Godfrey Okoye University in Enugu State has offered a scholarship to Lotanna Azuokeke, the 15-year-old student who scored 337 over 400 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, to study at the institution. Christian Anieke, the vice-chancellor of the institution, announced the scholarship while challenging students of the varsity to aim for excellence. Anieke said if the offer is accepted, the teenager would be admitted to study at the institution’s College of Medicine. Azuokeke, a student of Bishop Otubelu Juniorate, Trans Ekulu in Enugu State, has become a viral sensation since his UTME score surfaced online.
