Jimoh Ajao, has promised the people of Igando-Ikotun that the state government will improve their welfare. The APC chieftain also appealed to well-meaning Nigerians to support the government in providing social amenities to the people, especially those in the grassroots, saying that government alone cannot meet the needs of the people. Ajao made the call at the Igando Joint CDAs award ceremony, held at Ajao Event Centre, Igando, after hearing some of the residents' complaints about epileptic power supply, bad roads, and poor drainage in the community.
