Man, remanded in correctional centre for sodomy
A 21-year-old man, Tunde Adeniyi, has been remanded in Correctional Centre for allegedly penetrating the anus of a 13-year-old boy (name withheld) in Owoseni Primary School, Oshodi area of Lagos State. An Ikeja Magistrate Court sitting at Ogba handed down the order when the suspect appeared before it. His charge read: “That you, Tunde Adeniyi, ‘m’ on 10th May 2021 at about 1600hrs at Owoseni Primary School, Oshodi did sexually assault one (name withheld) ‘m’ 13 years old by penetrating his anus and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos, 2015". His plead was not taken as the matter was adjourned to August 9, 2021, pending advice from the Directorate for Public Prosecution, DPP. Culled from Vanguard
