Labour laments poor working conditions in private institutions

It is no surprise that the issue was a major discourse during the 8th Quadrennial National Delegates’ Conference of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions, NASU, held in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT. In a communiqué issued at the end of the conference, members of the union blamed the harsh conditions of workers in the private educational sector to the absence of unions and among others, called on the government to stamp its regulatory in the institutions.
