Naira redesign: Stop punishing Nigerians, PDP tells APC

THE Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has demanded that the leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, including its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and APC state governors to immediately release billions of new naira notes in their custody to end the current anguish being experienced by Nigerians. The main opposition party said the ruling party and its presidential candidate were playing to the gallery, pretending to empathize with Nigerians over the scarcity of newly redesigned naira notes when, in fact, they were responsible for the scarcity.
