48 suspects arrested at Oshodi, environs for various offences
Operatives of the Lagos State Task Force have arrested no fewer than 48 suspected miscreants during a coordinated raid of suspected hoodlums’ haven along Oshodi Bridge, Mosafejo and Army Arena axis. The raid, which took place weekend lasted for over five hours to ensure a complete mop up of areas known for criminal habitations and activities. Chairman of the agency, CSP Shola Jejeloye, said the raids along these black spots would be a continuous exercise to stamp out hoodlums and criminality from the state. He said: “Our feedbacks from members of the public helped us streamline our operational activities to areas that affect them the most. Raids along Oshodi in particular will be continuous and frequent till criminal elements take their trade elsewhere.
