Rape: 2 pastors arrested
TWO pastors are in police nets in Ogun and Osun states for allegedly defiling two girls during prayer sessions. In Osun State, one Pastor Kayode was arrested for reportedly raping his client identified as Yemisi. The suspect, whose church is located along Ijebu-Jesha road in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State, told the parents of the young girl of an important prayer session with her alone on January 4, 2024, which was her birthday. It was gathered that the suspect forcefully had sex with the client under the guise of fortifying her against spiritual attack. The victim, while narrating her ordeal, said she was given a message in school before the holidays to be prayerful in a bid to live long. According to her, my mother consulted Pastor Kayode to help with the matter and he told her I should not call anyone on January 4, which was my birthday.
