Dispose waste properly — LAWMA
*Urges Lagos residents to observe Eid-el-Kabir with moderation, piety By Idowu Ajigboteso THE Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has called on residents to properly dispose of their domestic wastes during and after the forth-coming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. The call was contained in a release issued by the Acting Managing Director of LAWMA, Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni on Wednesday, noting that adequate measures had been put in place to ensure that the celebration was observed in a filth-free environment. Odumboni expressed LAWMA’s resolve to stamp out all forms of improper waste disposal which have resulted in environmental degradation, urging Lagos residents to patronise only the assigned PSP operators and shun cart pushers in their areas.
