Solomon Maren. *Over 50 bodies recovered A member of the House of Representatives from Plateau State, Solomon Maren, has said no fewer than 100 people have been killed in two days during overnight attacks in his constituency. The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, lawmaker representing Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency, said the attackers also razed houses, including foodstuffs and farm inputs. It gathered that so far, over 50 bodies have been recovered while people are still running in droves from the many attacked communities to Mangu town and beyond to seek refuge. This came as five suspects have been arrested alongside five vehicles and weapons allegedly used in the recent attacks on Plateau State communities, according to the state Police command.
