Glo reduces international call tariffs by 55%
By Ireayo Adedigba Digital telecommunications service provider, Globacom, has slashed call tariffs by 55 per cent to international destinations in a bid to ensure that its customers keep in touch with their loved ones abroad at much more affordable rates. The company explained in a press statement issued in Lagos, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020; that the reduced tariffs are devoid of subscription fee. The tariffs are applicable to major destinations such as the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Ireland, South Africa, Spain and Saudi Arabia. Within the African continent, the tariffs cover Cameroon, Niger, Benin Republic, Togo and Cote d’Ivoire. “United Kingdom, which used to cost between N30 and N130 per minute now cost between N24 and N100 per minute, depending on the network the call is being terminated on.
