Liberty CDA threatens to drag IKEDC to court over bad transformer
RESIDENTS of Liberty Community Development Association, CDA, in Ikotun of Alimosho Local Government Area, has threatened Ikeja Electric Distribution Company, IKEDC with N100m suit over bad transformer and poor service. The residents complained to have been in total blackout for the past four months, adding that the IKEDC has been insensitivity to their plight and refused to supply them prepaid meters after years of estimated billings. According to the chairman of the CDA, Kayode Adeolokun and chairman of Oladunmoye Transformer Committee, Alhaji B. Gbadamosi, "the 500kva transfomer, installed in 1998, through the efforts of landlords and tenants of Oladunmoye area.
