Traders promise cleanliness, as Lagos govt reopens Alayabiagba market
Traders and market leaders at the popular Alayabiagba International Mordern Market situated at Boundary, Ajegunle Ajeromi/Ifelodun Local Council of Lagos State, have pledged to ensure total cleanliness of the market. It would be recalled that the market was shut by the state government for poor sanitation. The traders, led by Babaloja General for Ajeromi markets, Alhaji Lateef Ibrahim Nda, expressed gratitude Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, for reopening the market. Nda, who also expressed gratitude to Prince Rabiu Oluwa and the Ajeromi/ Ifelodun federal lawmaker, Mr. Kalejaye Adeboye Paul, said the traders had collectively realised that the government was not victimising them with the closure but noted that it was for their benefit.
