Cynthia Asogwu was on her way to work when she was attacked and killed by suspected robbers, who have been terrorising commuters, motorists and traders within Iyana Isashi, Okoko, Alaba Rago and its environs. It was gathered that the robbers shot Cynthia in the head for refusing to hand over her handbag to them. The remains of Cynthia Asogwu, abandoned in the pool of her blood, were later recovered by the police. Confirming the incident, spokesperson of Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said: "At about 10 am on Tuesday, the police received information that robbers had attacked a victim, Cynthia Asogwu, at the Signboard bus stop.
