Dust over plot to strangulate LG Autonomy Bill
THE circumstances surrounding the challenges encountered by the National Assembly in securing the agreement of state lawmakers and approval from President Muhammadu Buhari to grant financial and administrative autonomy to Local Governments in Nigeria, it is now time for state governors and lawmakers to put politics aside and carry out their constitutional obligations in the interests of the people who voted for them.
