Man bags life imprisonment for raping 6-yr-old girl
Father, son remanded for raping daughter, sister A Minna Senior Magistrate's Court, Angwan Daji has sentenced 55-year-old Yau Ibrahim to life imprisonment for raping a six-year-old girl. The convict was earlier arraigned before the court on August 15, 2023, for having unlawful sexual intercourse with the teenager. It was gathered that the convict also infected the teenager with a sexually transmitted disease, which has permanently led to her ill health. The Police prosecutor, Inspector Aliyu Yakubu Kuta, called two witnesses, who testified before the court on how the victim was sexually abused. Two exhibits, the confessional statement of the convict and medical report from the Rayuwal Sexual Reference Centre Police clinic in Minna, were tendered during the trial.
