WAEC launches EDUSTAT with over 50m candidates on database
THE West African Examinations Council, WAEC, said that the launch of EDUSTAT, an educational statistics platform, has removed the bottleneck and delay associated with access to information regarding the services of the body, noting that the platform currently has the database of over 50 million candidates tested over the years. Head of Nigeria Office of WAEC, Patrick Areghan, who disclosed this at the unveiling of the new platform in Lagos, explained that for schools, the platform would offer student-level data on academic performance, attendance, and demographic information.
