Bandits block Gusau-Funtua road, abduct travellers
BANDITS, who blocked the Funtua Road, have abducted all passengers in three vehicles at Margazu village in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The hoodlums also blocked the road near Unguwan Chida and other neighbouring communities and abducted passengers in five vehicles. Locals said the bandits who also killed their victims, have been disrupting traffic on that route since the rains heightened in the area. Spokesman of the Zamfara Police Command, Yazid Abubakar, confirmed the incident and assured that soldiers have been deployed to the area to chase out the bandits. Culled from Vanguard
