Four dead, 9 injured in road crash
NO fewer than four persons were confirmed dead, while nine others sustained injuries in an early morning accident on the Abeokuta-Sango-Lagos expressway, yesterday. The accident, which involved a Mazda bus and an unregistered truck, occurred at Obada Oko, in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State. Mrs. Florence Okpe, the Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, in Ogun, who disclosed this to newsmen in Abeokuta, explained that 14 persons, nine male adults and five female adults were involved in the accident. The statement read, "the crash occurred in the early hours of today (Thursday) at Obada-Oko on Abeokuta-Lagos expressway". "A total of 14 persons were involved which comprised of 09 male adults and 05 female adults. 09 persons sustained injuries, 04 male adults and 05 female adults".
