3-storey building collapse in Lagos: 6 die, 10 injured
ABOUT six persons were, confirmed dead, while more than 10 persons were rescued with injuries at the scene of a three-storey building which collapsed at 60, Odo Street, Obalende, Lagos Island. According to the eyewitness: “The building was under construction when it partially caved in. “Six persons (five males and a female) have so far been recovered dead, while 10 persons (all males) who were artisans at the construction site were rescued, five were treated for minor injuries, while others were taking to a nearby hospital for treatment.” Culled from Vanguard
