Truck carrying diesel falls off Lagos road

TRAGEDY was averted, yesterday, when a truck laden with diesel emptied its content on Mobolaji Johnson Avenue, off Glover Road, Ikoyi area of Lagos. Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Adeseye Margaret, said the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service mitigated the emergency situation from escalating further and appealed to members of the public to desist from scooping fuel from the spilled contents. She advised people living round the area not to make naked fire within the saturated environment in order to prevent fire from igniting.
