2 children die, 7 injured in Lagos-Abeokuta auto crash
THE Ogun State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, has confirmed the death of two children, in an accident that occurred at Kere in Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state. According to a statement, yesterday by the spokesperson for the command, Florence Okpe, the accident involved a white Toyota Camry with number plate, AGL36JA. Okpe said, in the accident, which occurred at 11p.m., on Saturday, seven other persons sustained injuries. She attributed the accident to overloading and excessive speed She noted that the injured were taken to Ifo General Hospital, while the bodies of the deceased were deposited at the same hospital.
