Trailer kills Kwarapoly student in Ilorin, injures 2 others
A yet-to-be-identified student of the Institute of Technology (IOT), Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin was yesterday, killed at the Sango roundabout area of the state capital, while two others sustained injuries. It was gathered that the three students were on the motorcycle on their way for lecture at the Institute of Technology centre in Adewale area of Ilorin when the tragedy occurred. The driver of the truck heading towards Maraba from Sango was said to have lost control while approaching the roundabout before hitting a vehicle in its front, which in turn hit the motorcycle with the three students. Vanguard gathered that one of the students on the motorcycle whose forehead seriously hit the pavement by the roadside died instantly, while the other two, who sustained injuries were rushed to the hospital.
