How scores escaped death as truck rams into vehicles
Scores of persons escaped death by the whiskers, yesterday, after a truck rammed into an SUV and a tricycle in the Isolo area of Lagos. Some persons, including drivers of the affected vehicles and a roadside trader were injured. Eye witnesses said the truck apparently had a brake failure on the Osolo Way, Aswani market, forcing the driver to swerve towards a gutter, to wedge the truck. But the truck broke the wall of a building and hit the Range Rover SUV and a tricycle. Director, Lagos State Fire Rescue Service, Adeseye Margaret confirmed the incident, saying: “The incident was reported at 10.18a.m, yesterday, to the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service at Osolo Way, Aswani Market, Isolo, Lagos.
