3rd Mainland bridge auto crash: Body of drowned male passenger recovered after two days
•As seven persons drown in 48hrs in Lagos THE body of one of the passengers who was flung into the lagoon during an auto crash on the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos, Wednesday, has been recovered. This is just as seven persons were reported to have drowned between Wednesday, March 10 2024 and Thursday, March 11,2024, in Lagos. Recall that an unidentified driver of a 20- seater commercial bus with number plate, FKJ 872 YA, was heading inwards Lagos Island, when tragedy struck, at the Adeniyi Adele end of the bridge, as the bus suddenly veered off his lane and hit the bridge rail. The impact of the hit flung two passengers, a male and a female, into the lagoon while other passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries.
