It was a well-taken finish from the winger in the 34th minute to get the Premier League side off to a strong start at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Chelsea will face Flamengo in their second group game at the Lincoln Financial Field, with the match scheduled for Friday, June 20 (2pm local time kick-off/7pm UK). The Blues will then take on Esperance, a Moroccan side, on Tuesday, June 24 at 9pm local time, or Wednesday, June 25 at 2am UK time. If Chelsea are to progress as group winners, then the Blues' round of 16 match will take place in Miami. Should they also go through that, the quarter-final will be in Atlanta before back-to-back games in New York for the semi-final and final of the competition.
