FG begins collation of out-of-school children

NATIONAL leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has said, that Lagos and Kano states must remain peaceful, given their large population and economic potential.  Aare-Ona-Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, has said that the clamour for Oodua Republic was long overdue. Also, a coalition of over 174 Yoruba groups in Diaspora, Yoruba One Voice, YOV, said the call for self-determination remained the last option for the Yoruba nation, insisting that long years of misrule, nepotism and failure to embrace true federalism and also tackle the protracted spate of insecurity across the country had been the bane of Nigeria.  The group added that the southwest would no longer play second fiddle in the entity called Nigeria. Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB PRO *Says registration commences April 8,  NIN compulsory for participation THE  Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has fixed June 5 for the commencement of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.   JAMB made the announcement in a statement issued by its Head of Public Affairs and Protocols, Dr. Fabian Benjamin. According to him, the 2021 UTME examination will start from June 5 to Saturday, June 19, 2021. IPOB'll support Yoruba group’s one million man march – Nnamdi Kanu

He made the promise in a his twitter on Wednesday stating that IPOB would stand with all oppressed ethnic groups in Nigeria. Insecurity: Police mount 24hr surveillance on Lagos schools, farms

THE Commissioner of Police, Lagos Command, Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, yesterday, disclosed that policemen have been deployed to carry out 24 hours surveillance on schools and farms, to avert kidnappings and banditry in Lagos State. The Police boss, however, lamented that some of the terrains, especially those of the farms, were not accessible by vehicles. He said the command would liaise with the Ministry of Agriculture and the state government in purchasing motorcycles for that patrol of the farmlands. Bello stated that the party can no longer tolerate Remy’s disobedience as he refused to recall the suspended councillors of the House, after three consecutive plenaries. According to Bello, “It is true, we’ve suspended him for being disobedient to party’s mandate. We gave him a directive to go and lift the suspension of his honourable colleagues on Monday, March 8. We gave him the directive on the third of March that he should reconvene the plenary and lift that suspension instead of complying with that order, he set up a committee to review the directive of the party, that’s an insult.
