Ex-Political office holders in Oshodi, honour Ariyoh

The Executive, Association of former Local Government Political Office Holders, 2004-2007 set, recently honoured chairman, Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh, for his sterling leadership qualities.

The association presented a plaque to him, to appreciate his sterling performance since he became the chairman of the local government; and appointed him as patron of the association.

According to coordinator of the association, Hon. Ameen: "We are proud of you and your leadership qualities, good character and wisdom, which you acquired under the  tutelage of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban Borgu.

"Your qualities and fearless nature, replicates your political god-father, Asiwaju Tinubu and we pray Allah to continue to bless you with more wisdom."

The association enjoined Ariyoh to assist them to find solutions to some pending issues facing the members of the association.

In his appreciation, Hon. Ariyoh thanked the association's excos for the honour and accepted their request to be their patron.

Also, he promised to assist them and continue to do his best at every opportunity available to him to serve the people.

He said: "The reward for hard work is more work."

Corpses of 6 police officers killed by herdsmen recovered

CORPSES of some of the killed police officers drafted from IRT Abuja, PMF 51 Oghara and Anti-Kidnapping Squad, Asaba in Delta State to rescue three missing officers in Ohoror community, have been recovered by a combined team of security agents and the local vigilantes in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state. God, free Nigeria from incessant destruction of lives —Pope Francis
