Truck driver dies during sex with prostitute

Homicide Unit of Lagos State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba, is currently investigating the circumstances behind the death of a truck driver, who died in a brothel during a SEX with a prostitute.

The 32-year-old truck driver, Wuyi Jackson, who works in an oil company in Ajah had gone to Ijegun depot in Satellite Town to load petroleum product when he decided to have drink at the hotel located at Oluti area of Satellite Town.

It was gathered that after parking his truck at the depot where he was supposed to lift the product, he retired to the hotel with some of his friends at about 10:pm. After taking some beers,  he reportedly negotiated with one of the prostitutes to spend the night with him.

While Wuyi was with Gift in one of the rooms that he became unconscious and later died before he could get medical help. Investigation reveled that Wuyi, an only child of his aged parents, was preparing for his wedding scheduled for next month. The two bags of rice he bought in preparation for his wedding were still inside his truck when he died.

Suspects account

Narrating how she got entangled in the case, 24-year-old Gift Ifeanyi, said when she was approached for her service for the night, she billed the deceased N10,000 but he paid her N7,000. 

She said: “Immediately we entered the room we had a sex. So we relaxed and slept for a while. At about 2:30 am he woke me up so we could have the second round. It was while we were at it that he started to breathe heavily and before I could do anything, he had become unconscious, so I raised alarm.”

It was gathered that after the hotel management was alerted that Wuyi was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where he was referred to Mainland General Hospital at Yaba, where he was declared dead on arrival.

The Wuyi’s corpse was taken to Yaba mortuary for autopsy and further investigation.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson Lagos state police command, Bala Elkana, said that the suspect died while in the company of the suspect at the hotel. An autopsy has been done, but we are waiting for the result to determine the cause of death.

Meanwhile, the suspect is in custody and is being questioned, an investigation is ongoing.
