U-20 W/Cup: Flying Eagles shock Argentina 2-0


Flying Eagles of Nigeria beat Argentina U-20, 2-0 to soar into quarterfinals. 

The Flying Eagles are through to the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-20 World Cup after beating Argentina to send the tournament hosts out of the championship.

Ibrahim Muhammad opened the scoring for Ladan Bosso’s boys on 61 minutes before Rilwanu Sarki made it 2-0 in the first minute of added time to send the record six-time U-20 world champions packing from the tournament.

Up next for the Flying Eagles is a quarterfinal  clash against either Ecuador or South Korea.

Corpses of 6 police officers killed by herdsmen recovered

CORPSES of some of the killed police officers drafted from IRT Abuja, PMF 51 Oghara and Anti-Kidnapping Squad, Asaba in Delta State to rescue three missing officers in Ohoror community, have been recovered by a combined team of security agents and the local vigilantes in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.
