PDP Manifesto: The most reliable, realisable document — Student bodies

*Endorse Atiku for President

THE Council of National Student Presidents of Nigeria, CNSPN, has stated that Peoples Democratic Party's manifesto is the most reliable and realisable document that can revive Nigeria and make it work again; saying that was the reason they endorsed Atiku Abubakar for president.

The Chairman of CNSPN, Obaji Uchenna Marshal stated further that after the examination of the working document of the PDP, the only document that goes beyond making political promises to actually providing a blueprint on how to have those promises achieved.

"It is important to note that, more than ever before, students are paying genuine attention to the processes of electing leaders who will oversee the affairs of governance of this country for the next four (4) years, thus our unwavering commitment to be a part of the process by exercising our constitutional franchise," he said.

"On this note of the foregoing and sequel to the above, the CNSPN has taken her time to follow all the frontline candidates closely, gone through their policy working documents (manifestos), and after keen scrutiny, the CNSPN has come to the conclusion that the manifesto of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), which carries the Atiku/Okowa tickets, is the most reliable, realizable.
"The manifesto provides answers to Nigeria’s quests, and above all, the most educationally friendly document, the working document of the PDP, is the only document that goes beyond making political promises to actually providing blue blueprint on how to have these promises achieved.
"These promises have drawn our interest, and it is anchored on the following: To restore Nigeria’s unity and social justice and to also build consensus amongst Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion.

"To establish a strong and effective democratic system that will ensure the safety of all Nigerians' lives and property. 

"To build a strong, resilient, and prosperous economy, that will create jobs and generate wealth that will lift people out of poverty.

"To promote a true federal system that will provide for a strong federal government that will guarantee national unity and be devoid of power at the center.

"To improve and strengthen Nigeria's educational system so that Nigerian graduates can compete in global space with their contemporary peers."This new order would be driven by innovations, science, and technology. 

"To restructure Nigeria and bring governance closer to the people, as well as to allow regions and states to control their own resources.

"Based on this premise and our conviction that it will work best for Nigerians, the CNSPN has issued a circular urging all students under our umbrella to vote and work to ensure victory, after our National Executives Council Meeting has resolved, adopted, and to work vigorously for the success of the Atiku/Okowa ticket come February 25th Presidential Election.

"We are fully behind the rescue team of the PDP."
