Black market: Naira depreciates to N735 per dollar

THE naira yesterday appreciated to N436.03 per dollar in the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window.

 Data from FMDQ showed that the indicative exchange rate for the naira fell to N436.03 per dollar from N436.37 per dollar on Wednesday, indicating 34 kobo appreciation for the naira.

However, the naira depreciated by N10 in the parallel market yesterday.

Findings from black market traders showed that the parallel market exchange rate rose to N735 per dollar from N725 per dollar on Wednesday.

Corpses of 6 police officers killed by herdsmen recovered

CORPSES of some of the killed police officers drafted from IRT Abuja, PMF 51 Oghara and Anti-Kidnapping Squad, Asaba in Delta State to rescue three missing officers in Ohoror community, have been recovered by a combined team of security agents and the local vigilantes in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.
