Nigeria records 120 new infections, as confirmed cases rise to 59,465



Yesterday, Nigeria recorded 120 new cases of Coronavirus; bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 59,465.

According to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, 536,695 samples were tested so far; while 50,951, Coronavirus patients have been successfully treated and discharged, as active cases now 7,401 and 1,115 deaths. 

The 120 new cases are reported from 13 states- Rivers (65), FCT (12), Ogun (9), Katsina (8), Anambra (7), Bauchi (5), Oyo (5), Nasarawa (3), Kaduna (2), Kwara (1), Taraba (1), Imo (1), Delta (1).
