RESIDENTS of Idi-Orogbo Community Development Area, CDA, in Ojodu Local Council Development Area, LCDA, have sent save our soul letter to the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to come to their rescue over the bad roads in the area.
The appeal letter sent to the governor was signed by the CDA chairman, Comrade Hameed Ibrahim and his secretary, Mr. Rotimi Sodeinde through Chairman, Ojodu LCDA, Engr. Olumuyiwa Oloro.
According to the letter: “We have for long being doing all we could on Osaye-Adu Road, to save the road from being washed away during raining season.
“Our community has appealed to Ojodu LCDA and the state government year in, year out. We have always been promised of assistance, but at the moment, the road has turned into a sort of death trap.
“With the situation in the country, all appeal to residents to raise money as usual, has failed to yield any positive result.
“We are therefore begging Gov Sanwo-Olu to come to our aid. The community has been loyal to the ruling party, come rain, come sun. As this is the first time we are looking forward to enjoy the dividend of the governance in Lagos State.”
