APC chieftain, Ganiyu Badmus goes home

“Verily we belong to Allah, and verily to Him we shall return to".
This was the message to friends, family and political associates of Late Ganiu Abayomi Ebudola Badmus at the 8th day fidau prayer, held at his residence in Mosaku Street, Oshodi.
The fidau prayer was led by Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Salam, who described the late Badmus as a righteous, religious, and community leader with exceptional qualities.
Alhaji Surajudeen Ojulari, National Missionary Asmus Islamic group led the prayers for the departed soul and family members he left behind. He prayed to Allah, to grant him aljanah fridau, heal the wounds of his departure in the heart of his dependants and close associates.
Alhaji Badmus was one of the founding members of Bola Tinubu Campaign Organisation, BATCO and Mandate Group of Alliance for Progressive Congress, APC, in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1, Alhaji Abdul-Ganiyu Abayomi Ebudola Badmus, died on Friday June 26, after a brief illness, at age 71.
He was buried on that day, according to Islamic rites. While, the third day fidau prayer was offered for the repose of his soul, at his residence, Plot 10, Aladekola Street, Ketu Lagos. 41 days fidau prayer would be offered for his soul too.
Alhaji Badmus started his political career with late Chief Isaac A. Banjoko, the first chairman of Oshodi-Isolo LGA. A close aide of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, from 1999-2007. He was a foundation member of Bola Tinubu Campaign Organisation, BATCO and Mandate Group formed to promote the political career of Tinubu and was loyal to him till the end.
He started with the party from AD, AC, ACN to APC.
Hon. Saheed Animashaun represents Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh at the fidau prayer, Hon. Hakeem Shokunle (LAHA), was represented by Hon. Philip; Hon. Rasheed Obasa led other councillors of Oshodi-Isolo Local government legislators to the event.
