It would be recalled that the Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, recently announced plans by the Federal Government to set the age limit for the examination at 18 years. This is even as government’s decision elicited more condemnations, as former Vice President Abubakar Atiku and civil society organisations, CSOs, described it as archaic and draconian.
